When we created TownCloud, our mission was clear. We wanted to be the first local government software company to bring modern applications to communities that are under 10,000 in population. In order to do this, we had to eliminate all of the things that make software difficult to implement and use.
We recently visited a town of 300 people and confirmed that the smallest towns have the same requirements as large communities but they have not had access to simple and affordable software.
What makes TownCloud special is that our apps don’t put an additional burden on the users. Applications like Agenda are up and running in minutes. They immediately save time that was previously spent manipulating Word documents and uploading attachments to their website.
At TownCloud we love small towns. We believe that eliminating the complexity of government software helps agencies of all sizes.
